Introducing Jacqart – Trame d’Arredo: a new player in high-end interior fabrics

Rino Mastrotto and the Marzotto Group announce the launch of Jacqart – Trame d’Arredo, a new company specializing in the production of high-quality jacquard fabrics and velvets.

The project stems from the integration of two historic Italian textile companies: Imatex, a Rino Mastrotto subsidiary active since 1960 in the production of jacquard fabrics for indoor and outdoor interior design; and Prosetex, part of the Marzotto Group, which since 1964 has been producing high-end velvets and fabrics for the residential and hospitality sectors, as well as technical lines for aviation, naval, and public transport applications. The new company is based in Bulciago (LC), at the heart of the Brianza textile district.

The name Jacqart, a fusion of Jacquard and Art, celebrates the weaving technology and artisanal creativity behind its “interior weaves”: sophisticated designs, innovative textures, and unique patterns aimed at inspiring the most discerning designers.

By offering a single point of contact and a wide range of products and services – from fabrics to smooth or jacquard velvets – Jacqart positions itself as a reliable reference for interior brands. The collaboration between Rino Mastrotto and the Marzotto Group brings valuable synergies: from optimized sourcing of raw materials – such as wool, linen, hemp, and cotton – to the vertical integration of Marzotto’s production chain, enhanced by Rino Mastrotto’s expertise in bespoke luxury. The offering is enriched with jacquard velvets and customization and bespoke services, tailored to the most exclusive requests.

This initiative allows Rino Mastrotto to further expand its range of fabrics for Interior Design, now including velvets.
Matteo Mastrotto, CEO of Rino Mastrotto, commented: “The Marzotto Group represents a benchmark of excellence in our region, and we are proud to join forces. The creation of Jacqart will generate meaningful synergies in raw material sourcing and shared expertise.”
