On the occasion of Milan Design Week 2026, JacqArt and Living Divani take part in a unique encounter centered on the pursuit of quality, attention to innovative materials, and the desire to explore their expressive potential in the field of interior architecture. The result of this shared vision is showcased in the spaces of Giardino Antiche Mura Medievali, via San Damiano 9, just a few steps from the Living Divani Gallery in Milan, the space designed by Piero Lissoni as an exhibition stage conceived to tell the stylistic universe of the brand through dedicated settings and installations.

Part of Rino Mastrotto Group, the new JacqArt brand draws on the expertise of the division specialized in jacquard fabrics and velvets for interior design and high-end fashion, led by CEO Matteo Mastrotto and created through the integration of two historic Italian companies founded in the 1960s for indoor and outdoor textile production for the residential, fashion, hospitality, contract, and luxury fashion sectors. The very name, born from the fusion of Jacquard and Art, reflects the project’s vocation: transforming fabric into a true furnishing texture.

In dialogue with JacqArt is Living Divani, the company founded in 1969 by Renata Pozzoli and Luigi Bestetti, now led by their daughter Carola, which has made upholstered furniture its distinctive hallmark. Over the years, the brand has established itself as one of the leading names in contemporary design thanks to a language defined by rigorous proportions, essential elegance, and an almost tailor-made attention to detail. Fundamental to this journey is the collaboration with Piero Lissoni, art director and designer since 1988, who continues to shape its stylistic identity and design coherence.

For Design Week, selected pieces from the Living Divani collection are reinterpreted through the new coverings developed by JacqArt. Among them are the iconic Extrasoft seating system, the Fillet Lounge chair, a 2026 novelty, and the Kasbah and Kasumi collections.

JacqArt fabrics thus become part of a way of designing: material structures, three-dimensional weaves, and color palettes inspired by natural elements — sand, stone, clay, and plant fibers — enhance the pure lines and rigorous proportions of the furnishings. Surfaces do not merely serve an aesthetic or covering function, but actively contribute to shaping the identity of the space, helping define atmosphere, comfort, and the perception of objects.

This collaboration highlights a deep harmony between the two brands: on one side, JacqArt’s textile culture and technological research; on the other, Living Divani’s design vision guided by Piero Lissoni. What unites them is the belief that materials are design elements capable of generating new interpretations of contemporary design and transforming fabric into a narrative tool for interior architecture.
