Rino Mastrotto: an important new step in the high fashion sector

Rino Mastrotto today announces a significant advance in its strategic diversification path with the acquisition of Mapel Group S.r.l., a company recognised in the sector of the production and commercialisation of ribbons, inserts and accessories for luxury goods.
This transaction, the second in a month for Rino Mastrotto, marks a further expansion in the company’s offering, allowing it to enter the market for leather tapes and components. Mapel Group, with over 30 years of experience, is one of the leading Italian companies in this field and operates through two subsidiaries: Mapel Textile and Mapel Components.

The CEO of Rino Mastrotto, Matteo Mastrotto, expressed enthusiasm for this acquisition, emphasising how the addition of Mapel Group further enriches the company’s product and service offering, creating important synergies in both sales and production. “Rino Mastrotto is a partner in the world of luxury, from high fashion to high-end furniture to the most famous car manufacturers, and every step we take aims at strengthening this positioning. The deal involves the purchase of a majority stake in Mapel Group, while the Leni and Ugolini families, the company’s founders, will remain with a minority share and continue to lead the company’s management.
