Shaping talent: our engagement in fashion

Over the past few days, we have met with students from Polimoda Firenze and Istituto Marangoni Firenze to launch two contests on accessories and footwear. These were two important opportunities to introduce the next generation of fashion designers to the different capabilities that our companies can bring to the fashion industry.

Sharing savoir-faire also means providing the designers of tomorrow with concrete knowledge to transform ideas into finished products. With Polimoda students, we set up a contest on the world of bags and leather goods, supplying some Tessitura Oreste Mariani fabrics for the development of products that will then be sold in selected shops. With Istituto Marangoni, on the other hand, we worked on the theme of footwear, illustrating the characteristics and uses of different types of leather, also providing the raw material to carry out their projects.

Actively participating in these training courses is a commitment that we want to pursue with ever greater determination: not only do we want to promote the training of future fashion talents, but we also want to contribute to the diffusion of a typically Italian manufacturing culture that deserves to be valorised and experienced with creativity and passion by the new generations.

A special thank you goes to Leather & Luxury who skilfully organised these initiatives and who wanted to involve us by enhancing our expertise.
